HobbyJogger is a suite of three main tools:

(1) Race time equivalents
(2) Training zone calculation
(3) Ordered Sorting Athlete metrics

On top of crunching numbers for an individual race or athlete, HobbyJogger:

-extrapolates TIME, PACE, POWER for all race distances based on any one race
-calculate your normalized FTP, FTP, as well as pace at FTP
-shows estimated marathon times and required cutoffs for BOSTON QUALIFICATION for your entire array of Saved Runners, taking into account each runners gender and age.
-provide EVIDENCE BASED, mathematically precise numbers for training efforts in POWER, HEART RATE, or PACE for all your runners
Presents specific data of interest for coaches: for example 5k time and paces for an entire ARRAY of ATHLETES in a table format in a RANK ORDER LIST for structuring practices
shows all TRAINING ZONES by HEART RATE, POWER, and PACE as well as extrapolated race times for all common race distances for the individual athlete
calculates VO2max, as well as power at VO2max

What about BOSTON?

-If you want to make it to the Boston Marathon, it helps to know your fitness going in and how far off you are from your required cutoff. The Boston Marathon is the average runner’s Olympics. Punching your ticket to Boston requires completing a marathon in under a time requirement.
HobbyJogger not only calculates your required 2019 standard Boston cutoff time based on athlete AGE and GENDER, but also projects a mathematically forecasted marathon time based on the race DISTANCE and TIME entered.
HobbyJogger also calculates the difference in minutes:seconds between the athletes Boston Qualification standard, and their predicted MARATHON time. From time difference, a PACE difference is calculated, telling the athlete in their preferred metric (kilometer or mile) how many seconds per km or mi they are from their goal.

Extrapolate TIME, POWER, and PACE for most common race distances

Lastly, the app makes it very easy to easily eyeball race times, performance, and paces across your entire array of saved athlete times based on all three metrics; PACE, HEARTRATE, and POWER. This is an excellent tool for coaches organizing group runs or for predicting when your friend (or friendly rival) crosses the finish line.
